AN INVITATATION TO PARTICIPATE AND BECOME A MEMBER

The Ohio Criminal Justice Oral History Association is a group of criminal justice practitioners and academics that want to record and publish oral histories depicting the ourstanding careers and experiences of police, court, corrections, and juvenile justice professionals who practiced in Ohio.  Membership in the Association requires only an interest in learning and conducting oral history interviews.  There are no fees or other requirements for membership. Both you and the subject of your interview(s) will thoroughly enjoy preserving the career stories and experiences of criminal justice professionals in Ohio. If we do not capture and record these stories now, they could be lost forever.

We will also assist you in learning the oral history method that is one of the most enjoyable of all research methods.  You will also see that the same method can be used to preserve the life stories and histories of members of your family and friends.

Please contact Professor Keith N. Haley at keith@keithhaley.com for more information. We look forward to hearing from you.
